Ruby Sills

Ruby Joyce Sills, age 90 of Lithonia, died January 19, 2021. She was a life long resident of Lithonia, where she attended Lithonia High School. Joyce enjoyed gardening and cooking (she was a great cook). She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Winston D. Sills; son, Derrill Sills; and great-granddaughter, Makayla Crooms. Surviving are daughter, Elaine Yearwood Stallworth and her husband, Sid, of Stockbridge; sister, Carolyn George and her husband, Charles, of Lithonia; grandchildren, Daryl Sills and wife, Nicole, Scott Sills, Steven Yearwood, and Sandra Ford; great-grandchildren, Lacey McGuoirk, Jaquelyn Sills, Scarlette Emma Sills, and Amelia Sills; many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock, Tuesday, January 26, at Turner Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1- 1:45pm prior to the service at Henry Funeral Home.
