Service: 1 o'clock, Friday, January 22, 2016 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 6-8 Thursday evening, January 21, 2016 Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Howard A. Skinner, age 89, of Lithonia, died January 16, 2016. He served his country in the Army during WWII and retired from Scottdale Mills as a machine operator. Howard is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margaret Louise Owens Skinner; daughters, Betty Jo Kitchens and her husband, Sidney, of Conyers, Barbara Ann Squier and her husband, Jim, of Roswell, Jeanette Martin and her husband, Terry, of Stockbridge; sons, Wayne Skinner of Springfield, Mass, Robert Skinner and his wife, Debbie, of Bethlehem; 14 Grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Friday, January 22, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Chaplain Cynthia Mattox officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 Thursday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
