Albert E. Swann Obituary (1929 - 2023)

Albert E. Swann, age 94 of Conyers, died January 12, 2023. He was a member of Hydes Chapel Baptist Church. Albert was a retired machinist having worked for Lance snack foods and later for TechnoCorbin for many years. He loved fellowshipping with friends about the 'good ole days'. Albert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillian Stephens Swann; and nephew, Shane Smith. He is survived by his step-sons, William R. Parker of Reno, Nevada and Guy C. Parker of Conyers, Georgia; step-daughter, Brenda Parker Contla of Los Angeles, California; great nephew, Ezra Smith. A funeral service will be held 3 o'clock, Sunday, January 15, at Hydes Chapel Baptist Church, 1630 W. Hightower Trail Conyers, GA 30012, with Pastor Jerry Bennett officiating. Mr. Swann's remains will lie in state from 2-3 o'clock at the church prior to the service.
